Posey County EMA Has 4 primary functions:

Planning
Creating and modifying plans for all types of emergencies
Mitigation
Making changes that would cause the emergency less severe
Response
Responding with Emergency Equipment to assist others
Recovery
Working with Local, State and Federal agencies to return back to normal

Posey County Project Lifesaver

The main goal of Posey County Project Lifesaver is to utilize search and rescue technology in conjunction with existing public safety operations to provide a timely response to save lives and reduce potential injury for adults and children that are at risk of elopement due to Alzheimer’s, dementia, autism, down syndroms and other cognitive disorders.
