Annual Board of Finance
The Annual Board of Finance meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd at 9am. This meeting will be held at the Hovey House located at 330 Walnut Street in Mount Vernon.
Western Bypass Groundbreaking
Posey County is excited to announce the upcoming groundbreaking ceremony for the Western Bypass on Monday, August 19, at 11:30 a.m. When completed, this project aims to reroute semi-truck traffic away from Mt. Vernon’s downtown area, reducing congestion and improving safety. The bypass will also foster new economic growth opportunities.
